Working with us

How long does a shoot take to come back?

E-commerce packshots from 5 business days. Editorial selects with full retouch from 10.

How far ahead do I need to book?

2–3 weeks for catalog, 4–6 weeks for editorial.

What do I need to send you to start?

A line sheet, a SKU list, or a mood board. We come back within 48 hours with a shot list, a mood deck and a budget.

Can I see the shots as they happen?

Yes. Every shoot is tethered to a producer screen — you can be on set or watch remotely, and approvals happen in real time.

Do you handle casting, styling and props?

Yes, all locked in pre-production before the shoot day.

What lighting setups do you have?

Two studios, daylight or strobe.

Do you shoot on location as well as in studio?

Both.

Do you shoot models, product only, or both?

Both.

Do you offer ghost / invisible mannequin work?

It’s in active development, currently being proven out on real client apparel work. Ask us where it’s at for your product.

Do you offer 360° spin video?

Yes. Rotating product views for Shopify and Amazon listings, produced as part of the same job. Tell us which SKUs need it when you send your product list.

Can you meet Amazon and Shopify spec?

Yes.

How do I get the files?

One folder, one link. Hi-res, web-ready and platform-sized for Shopify, Amazon, lookbooks and socials, every asset tagged.

Can you name files to our system?

Yes — every file named to your spec.

How long do you keep files after delivery?

One year.

Can you turn a job around faster than your standard timeline?

Rush turnaround is available, quoted case by case depending on what’s already booked.

Where are you?

Unit 111, 326 Carlaw Ave, Toronto (Leslieville), by appointment.

Sending us your product

How does the approval process work if I’m not on set?

We shoot one sample first and send it to you. Once you’ve signed off on styling, angle and lighting, we shoot the rest of the run to match it. You approve the look before we shoot the run, not after.

What if the finished run doesn’t match the sample I approved?

We reshoot it, at our cost. That’s not a revision — it’s us fixing our own miss, and it isn’t capped.

Will you sign an NDA for unreleased product?

Yes, on request. No charge.

How do products reach you?

Drop off or courier.

Do I just post my product to you?

No — talk to us first. Let us know what’s coming and send the tracking number once it’s shipped, so we’re expecting it when it arrives.

Where do I ship to?

Fisheye Studio, 326 Carlaw Ave, Unit 111, Toronto, ON M4M 3N8. We’ll confirm the drop-off details with you directly once your shoot is booked.

Who pays for shipping?

You do, both directions.

Are my products insured while you have them?

No — you insure your own goods for the trip and while they’re with us.

What if my sample is damaged?

We take reasonable care with every sample — garments get steamed and handled carefully, bags get stuffed to hold their shape — but shooting a product means handling it, so we can’t guarantee it comes back in sellable condition. If a piece has to stay pristine, tell us before you ship it and we’ll shoot it accordingly.

How long do you hold onto my product?

It goes back in the mail as soon as you’ve approved all the images. There’s no fixed number of days it sits with us.

How many rounds of retouching are included?

One round — colour, crop, cleanup, background, file naming. Re-lighting or restyling a sample means putting it back on set, which is new work and quoted separately.

What if I don’t like the shots?

If they don’t match the sample you already approved, we reshoot at our cost. If you’re changing your mind on styling after signing off on the sample, that’s new work, and we’ll quote it as a reshoot.
